You recall, I wasn't coming to your 2006 sale as I had a rodeo in New Braunfels.....You called me and said that there were two calves in your sale I needed to look at. I flew in on Saturday morning, and you had told me you thought that More Bucks would sell for $40,000. That is what he brought and everybody in the business thought I was nuts....look at him now! Three years later he has been to numerous events winning money at all of them and is sitting 3rd in the world.

First of all, the facility is awesome.  We were fortunate to stay in the guest home back in February and it was great.  It is fully furnished with all the amenities.  Some of the amenities include a state of the art weight room, HD TV's with satellite, nice big living area, big kitchen, pool, hot tub, ping pong table, computer with high speed internet, so there is everything you could want or need in a bucking bull retreat.

The bull training program is awesome as well.  We have been to several futurity events this year and to see the difference between the bulls that The Jaynes Gang train and the other guys is between night and day in our opinion. Overall the bulls are much calmer in the chutes; they seem to load easy and the big difference to me is exiting the arena after the buzzer.  Other bulls run around the arena and don’t have a clue where to go but The Jaynes Gang bulls turn and look for the exit gate.  The Jaynes Gang treat these animals like they are human and with the utmost respect.  The use of voice commands is a great thing.

When you get involved with The Jaynes Gang it is like one huge family.
Whether you stay at the guest home or just stop by for a day you are treated like family.

We bought our very first bull 3 years ago from Billy Jaynes.  Since then, we have bought several more, including partnerships with Billy.  We came into this venture with a checkbook and enthusiasm, but very little "bull" knowledge.  Billy has patiently educated and guided us to this point.  There has never been anything that Billy has told us or sold us that he doesn't stand by his word. 

We have met bucking bull enthusiasts from all over the country and Canada.  Our excitement continues to grow as does our love for this great sport. We are big fans of Billy Jaynes!

Lea & I walked into this totally blind not having any idea on how the bull industry worked. We had been to PBR events but now we are actually bull owners. Without the help of The Jaynes Gang and the patience they have had teaching us about raising and training bulls we would understand and know as much as we do today. They welcomed us with open arms down to their place and gave us a whole day experience of what has to be done from the start of raising the bull (even took us to see sonograms being done) to getting the bulls  trained to buck. There is so much involved to owning a bull, but I just want to say that we have indeed learned so much and would not have our bulls in any other hands.

I really enjoy the buck days at The Jaynes Gang’s facility in Orchard, Texas because watching the progress of the bulls in training is so educational. I came to one of your bull sales with my friends, Betty Hebert and Cecila Bruce. It was great the way you explained how you handle and train the young bulls. Then the sale began and I could not get Betty to bid. Finally she said, “When I should bid?”, so I looked at the sale catalog and told her to bid on Lightening Bolt.  Boy, I thought she would never start bidding.We have certainly enjoyed learning about the bucking bull business from Billy Jaynes.

We first met Billy at the PBR in 2007 when we bought our Futurity bulls. We had been interested in the sport a few years before that, but did not know how to get involved. Good afternoon to you all! I would like to start off by saying what a GREAT Web site you have and thank you for everything you do. I am from Ririe, Idaho and bought a bull from you a while back, which we dubbed Wolf Pup. He has been FUN-nominal bull and has become part of our family. If this bull didn’t buck he would still have a home because he has one of the best personalities, plus my youngest son and Dad are pretty fond of him. In 2007, he was the top money bull in our surrounding area; several events were won on him and the guys just love to get on him. Wolf Pup has been to one PBR Challenger. We have some nice 2007 calves that we are starting to mess with, and they are looking like pretty good prospects. I also have some nice 2009 calves. Thank you Jaynes Gang!

What a wonderful weekend for you and your customers! There's not a better group of people to work with than you, Wade, and the rest of the Gang. I am so happy that all the hard work you guys put in, from searching for top genetics and talent, to training, to all the education you have provided to people like us, total greenhorns to the business, is being rewarded in spades.

There can't be a harder working outfit around (I think your crew somehow stretches their days to include 30 hours, and not just 24).

You have surrounded yourself with not just top notch animals, but the best group of people in the business.
I have complete faith that there are only going to be even bigger and better things for you and your customers. Congratulations again, and I'll see you at the Mega Genetics Sale in a couple of weeks.

"I trained and drove standardbred harness horses for over 15 years before an on track accident ended my career. I always had an interest in bucking bulls. I used to go with my vet to a farm to treat bulls for one of his clients and they always intrigued me. I have followed bull riding for many years. I recently partnered with the Jaynes Gang on five yearling prospects.

I have seen livestock training from both ends of the fence. The owner and trainer relationship Billy has initiated is very similar to the relationship I had with my owners as a horse trainer. I assisted my owners in purchasing or claiming race horses. I charged my owners a monthly training fee and a percentage of the purse. In many instances I partnered with owners with a similar percentage structure to the one Billy uses. I enjoyed interacting with my owners and provided additional amenities like Billy does to make them feel a part of my racing family. This is the standard used in the horse racing industry and Billy has brought this model to the bucking bull industry.

All of my race horse owners did not have their own farm or land to stall, train or turnout their horses. I did this for them via my barn on the race track as well as a training farm and track I maintained. Billy is doing the same for his owners and partners.

Billy has created tremendous mainstream interest in owning bucking bulls and breeding stock. He is opening the industry to a large amount of new and eager owners. Just because one wasn’t born into an industry nor has a ranch should exclude them from having a passion to participate in the sport.

No one understands the risk of purchasing and training livestock like I do. I'm fully aware of the percentages of success. I trust Billy, feel comfortable with his vision and approach to the industry and look to continue to partner with him."
